Eilat plans 50MW Israeli wind farm

Eilat Ashkelon Pipeline Company (EAPC) plans to develop a wind farm in Israel’s Eilat mountain region. The project is expected to cost between EUR50m (USD68.1m) and EUR60m (USD81.7m) and have a capacity of 50MW. EAPC hopes to use Israeli technology to build the wind farm, which could be complete within three years. The project remains subject to approval from the Israel Civil Aviation Administration and regulatory bodies.
