Japanese wind farm developer Eurus Energy is building a EUR140m (USD179m) wind project in Norway. The Hog-Jaeren project is located 40km south of StavangerCity, in the southwest of the country, and will comprise 26 wind turbines with a combined capacity of 59.8MW. The wind farm is the first to be developed by a Japanese firm in Norway, and is scheduled for completion in autumn of next year. Electricity generated at the site will be supplied to EGL (Elektrizitats-Gasellschaft Laufenburg).

Eurus Energy is a subsidiary of Tokyo Electric Power, which holds a 60% stake, and Toyota Tsusho, which owns the remaining 40%.
