India’s ICICI Bank has secured USD300m in loans from a group of Japanese banks. The loans will be used to support the development of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects in the country. Japan Bank for International Cooperation is providing USD180m of the total, with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubshi providing the remaining USD120m.
