JPMorgan and Wells Fargo are investing USD122.2m in an Illinois wind farm owned by German energy firm E.ON. The pair will take an equity stake in the Settlers Trail project, which recently began operating and has a 150MW capacity. The project, located in Iroquois County, comprises 94 GE Energy turbines and is expected to generate USD29m in local taxes and USD8m in local salaries, as well as owning land owners more than USD20m.
