The project, located in Jamaica, will have a 60MW capacity and is expected to cost around CAD450m (USD450m) to build. The Canadian firm will develop the solar farm across three 50-acre plots in the country. In addition to Caribbean islands, Solamon aims to develop solar power projects in northern South America and eastern Central America, as well as the Mediterranean and Pacific regions.
