Credit Agricole investing USD13m in Abakus Solar

Credit Agricole Private Equity is investing EUR10m (USD13.2m) in German firm Abakus Solar (AS). The pair are also setting up a holding company called Abakus Solar Power which will invest in AS’ projects. AS develops and installs rooftop and ground-mounted photovoltaic projects in Germany, Italy, Taiwan and the US. The firm, which employs 95 people, expects to post revenue of EUR112m (USD147.2m) for last year.
