German solar firm Conergy has picked an unnamed manufacturer from the Czech Republic to produce its new polycrystalline photovoltaic (PV) modules. The firm hopes to shield itself from potential tariffs which could be imposed by the US on Chinese manufacturers, which stand accuse of flooding the market with cheap panels.
