LanzaTech lands USD56m for waste gas-to-fuel technology

LanzaTech has landed USD55.8m in a Series C funding round led by Malaysian Life Sciences Capital Fund. The venture capital arm of Malaysian state-owned oil company PETRONAS, Dialog Group and existing investors Khosla Ventures, Qiming Venture Partners and K1W1 also participated in the round. The investment brings the total raised by the New Zealand-based firm to USD85m, since being founded in 2005.
