Enova Energy Group has secured USD225m in financing from investment firm Carlyle Group and engineering firm Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). The firm will use the funds to build a biomass power plant in Plainfield, Connecticut, which will have a 37.5MW capacity. Under the deal, SAIC will provide engineering, procurement and construction services for the project, which is expected to take two years to build.
