LanzaTech buys Range Fuels’ cellulosic ethanol plant

New Zealand-based LanzaTech is paying USD5.1m to acquire Range Fuels’ cellulosic ethanol production plant in Georgia, according to AP. The Soperton facility was completed at the 2010 and closed down early last year after Colorado-based Range Fuels failed to make a repayment on a loan from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA).
