Ecotricity USD16m second bond offering oversubscribed

Ecotricity’s, which had been hoping to raise GBP10m (USD15.5m) through its second Ecobond offering, has received applications from more than 2,000 people for GBP16.2m (USD25.1m) of bonds. The issue was oversubscribed by 62%, which exceeds the appetite for the green electricity supplier’s first GBP10m (USD15.5m) offering, which itself was 50% oversubscribed.
