Japan’s DENSO, TOYOTA Housing and Misawa Homes are working together to develop a home energy management system to launch domestically in February. The system will comprise a control unit and a touch panel monitor, which enables users to track real-time energy consumption and electricity costs, as well manage electric vehicles charging. Users will also be able to monitor and switch on and off home appliances using a smartphone app.
