Solais Lighting wins USD1.8m for LEDs

Solais Lighting has become the latest LED lighting firm to win backing in the past few weeks, snapping up USD1.8m in a round that brings total funding to around USD4m, according to an SEC filing. Founded in 2008, the firm's previous investors include Long River Ventures and FreshTracks Capital.
