Amyris wins USD12.5m and buys Draths - Rumour

Amyris has secured BRLD22m (USD12.5m) worth of project financing from Brazil's Development Bank for the firm's first industrial-scale production facility in Piracicaba, São Paolo. The plant, which converts sugarcane into farnesene, began operating earlier this year and is owned by Biomin do Brasil Nutricao.
