Amyris and Method developing renewable chemicals for soaps

Amyris is teaming up with Method Products to develop renewable ingredients for Method's environmentally-conscious household and personal care products. The pair will work to produce a portfolio of molecules, such as surfactants and solvents, from Amyris' renewable farnesene. If successful, Amyris will produce and supply the ingredients to Method for use in its products, which include cleaning products, laundry detergent, soaps and moisturising creams.
