Axion boosts capacity for recycled industrial materials

Axion International is teaming up with Coll Materials to expand production of its recycled industrial building products. Coll provides plastic recycling services in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas, and will provide expanded manufacturing capacity for Axion at its Waco, Texas facility. Axion’s technology was developed with researchers from Rutgers University, and converts recycled consumer and industrial plastics into products such as girders, pilings, railroad tiles and bridge substructures.
