Dow to produce desalination technology in Saudi Arabia

Dow Chemical plans to build a manufacturing plant for reverse osmosis elements in Saudi Arabia. The facility will produce membranes which require less energy to function and provide a three-fold increase in the amount of water treated per element, according to the firm. Dow will supply customers in desalination, industrial, municipal, commercial and residential sectors.
