Daylight raises USD15m for environmental monitoring

Daylight Solutions has raised USD15m in a Series C funding round from aerospace and defence firm Northrop Grumman and undisclosed existing investors. The Californian firm has developed quantum cascade laser (QCL) technology which can be used for real-time monitoring of greenhouse gas emissions. The technology also has applications in defence, scientific research and medical diagnostics.
