Aquatech buys Indian water treatment firm WEX

Pennsylvania-based Aquatech is paying an undisclosed fee to acquire a majority stake in WEX Technologies. The Indian firm provides water treatment products for applications such as boilers, cooling towers, reverse osmosis and oil field treatment. WEX will continue to operate as an independent entity.
