GE to build hybrid solar, wind and natural gas plant in Turkey

GE has signed a deal with Turkish investor project developer MetCap Energy Investments to develop a combined-cycle gas power plant with integrated wind and solar power in the country. The project, located in Karaman, will have a 530MW capacity, including 22MW of GE wind turbines and 50MW of eSolar’s solar thermal technology.
