Massachusetts-based Aircuity has raised USD3.5m in equity funding from seven unnamed investors, according to a regulatory filing. The firm plans to raise a further USD6.5m before the round’s close. Aircuity’s OptiNet system uses sensors to analyse air samples within a building. The real-time data is presented through a web-based platform and enables facility managers to optimise ventilation systems and improve energy efficiency. The firm provides systems for commercial, industrial and government clients.
