GIM sells stake in emissions reduction firm Camco

Generation Investment Management (GIM) is selling its 19.6% stake in Camco International for an undisclosed amount. The stake represents around 34.5m shares and is being sold to an investment unit of the Malaysian government, Khazanah Nasional, which earlier this week agreed to buy 9.3m shares in Camco for GBP1.9m (USD3m). According to Reuters, Khazanah also said it would buy an additional 19.6% stake in Camco, making it the firm’s largest shareholder with a 24% holding.
