Smart grid coalition gains new members
Cisco, Cooper Power Systems, Tropos Networks, Grid Net and U-SNAP Alliance are joining the Demand Response and Smart Grid Coalition (DRSG), a trade association working to modernise the electricity system with smart grid technologies. The group aims to educate and provide information to policymakers, utilities, the financial community and the media on smart grid techniques and demand response technology. Existing members of the coalition include EnerNOC, Landis+Gyr, General Electric, Google and Silver Spring Networks.
