GE pumps USD7m into Finavera wind projects

Canadian wind farm developer Finavera Renewables has secured CAD7.5m (USD7.3m) in project development funding from GE Energy. As part of the deal, GE will be preferred wind turbine supplier for each of the four wind power projects. Finavera will repay the funding at the financial close of each project.
