NTE and EIC team up for hybrid renewables

Energy Investors Funds (EIC) is forming a joint venture with NTE Energy to develop large-scale hybrid renewable energy plants in the US. The venture, called EIF NTE Hybrid Renewable Energy, will combine solar, biomass and other renewable energy technologies with natural gas turbine technology in its projects. The pair plans to announce projects in Florida, South Carolina and Alabama in the near future.
