Suntech buys solar installer and forms solar farm venture

Chinese solar panel manufacturer Suntech is acquiring solar system installer EI Solutions and forming a joint venture with MMA Renewable Ventures to develop utility-scale solar farms. The firm, which plans to expand its network of US dealers, hopes to triple US sales by next year.
