Solar thermal firm Ausra completes USD60.6m funding round

Solar thermal startup Ausra has raised USD60.6m in its third funding round led by Canadian investor KERN Partners. The round included Generation Investment Management, Starfish Ventures and returning investors Khosla Ventures and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Ausra closed the first USD24.5m in August.
