Greenpeace has released the ninth edition of its ‘Guide to Greener Electronics’, a report that ranks the world’s major tech firms according to their record on the environment. Nokia comes out top, having impressed the report’s authors with its mobile phone recycling scheme in India and efforts to eliminate toxic chemicals from the manufacturing process. Nintendo comes bottom, with a poor record on greenhouse gas emissions, energy efficiency, recycling schemes and chemicals management.
